After more than a decade of marriage, Frances is having an identity crisis. Her life seems monotonous, her relationship with her husband seems strained, and her wants, needs, and desires seem to have been all but forgotten. With two best friends who are husband-less and independent, Frances begins to wonder what she's missing, and contemplates the possibility that divorce might be the answer she's looking for. She'll soon learn that as a word and a process, "divorce" is about as loaded- and complicated- as its stigmatized to seem.
